THE PROJECT
Sculpt Body & Wellness Lounge is a leading post-op and body sculpting clinic in the DMV area, helping clients \"love the skin they're in\" with expert recovery and sculpting treatments ([source](https://www.sculptva.com/)). They needed a dedicated mobile experience where clients can discover services, book appointments with specialists, and manage their wellness journey, while staff get powerful tools to handle bookings, packages, and results tracking. The goal was to create a two-sided application that feels as premium and supportive as the in-clinic experience.

01 Objectives
The client wanted to extend their trusted in-clinic experience into a digital product that supports both clients and staff. On the client side, the goal was to make it effortless to discover services, book post-op care sessions, and stay accountable to wellness plans. On the staff side, the objective was to centralize scheduling, client histories, and package tracking in one intuitive system while preserving the high-touch, boutique feel SculptVA is known for.
02 Challenges
Building a wellness-focused, two-sided platform presented several challenges:
- Dual user experience design. The platform had to serve both Sculpt clients and clinic staff with one application, keeping flows simple for clients and powerful for staff.
- Real-time calendar synchronization. Treatment schedules, post-op follow-ups, and package sessions needed to stay in sync across multiple practitioners and rooms.
- Payment and package handling. The system had to support bundled services, payment plans, and add-ons while keeping billing transparent for both clients and the business.
- Results and progress tracking. Clients needed a way to see their journey over time, while staff required structured before/after documentation and notes.
03 Solutions
We developed the SculptVA applications as a complete two-sided platform connected to the in-clinic experience. Key solutions included:
- Dual-mode applications. Separate client and staff experiences sharing a single backend, with flows optimized for booking, progress tracking, and day-to-day clinic operations.
- Connected scheduling engine. Calendar logic that keeps sessions, packages, and practitioner availability aligned in real time.
- Wellness-focused UX. Flows, copy, and visuals designed to support confidence and care, mirroring the tone of the Sculpt Body & Wellness Lounge brand.
- Integrated payment and package logic. Support for recurring programs, add-ons, and bundled treatments with clear summaries for clients and staff.
